Registration is optional on iOS, but syncing is still secure. Your device is identified and gets a server-issued token. If you create an account later, we can link your device so your earlier scans show up.

Do I need an account to start scanning?
No. Registration is optional. You can scan first and create an account later — your device can be linked so earlier scans show up in your contacts.
Is my data secure?
We use HTTPS and device-based authentication to sync scans. Tokens are stored securely on device and only hashed on the server.
Can I export my contacts?
Export and integrations are part of the roadmap. The goal is to keep your contacts portable.
